Description
Interleukin-1 is a cytokine with a wide range of biological and physiological effects, including fever, prostaglandin synthesis (in e.g., fibroblasts, muscle and endothelial cells), T-lymphocyte activation, and interleukin 2 production.High levels of IL-1α and IL-1β are major concerns in the management and treatment of inflammatory disease. The antibody which to inhibit IL-1β can be used for treating disease associated with increased levels of IL-1β, particularly inflammatory disorders.
