Human Anti-IFNA1 / IFNA13 Recombinant Antibody (clone AIFNα1b)

Description

Recombinant Human Antibody (AIFNα1b) is capable of binding to IFNA1/13, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-IFNA1/13 mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-IFNA1/13 proteins mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. This antibody shares partial epitopes of IFNα1b with its receptor IFNAR2 but with much higher binding affinity to IFNα1b than IFNAR2 and exhibits its neutralizing activity through competition with IFNAR2 to bind with IFNα and prevents the activation of IFNα-mediated signaling pathway.
