Description
This is a fully human antibody that specifically targets CD4. It has been observed that the antibody does not induce CD4 internalization in either of the tested cell types at the two time points. The CD4 antigen acts as a coreceptor in conjunction with the T cell receptor on T lymphocytes to recognize antigens displayed by antigen-presenting cells in the context of class II MHC molecules. CD4-related diseases include immunodeficiency 79 and Okt4 epitope deficiency.
