PABL-460

Human Anti-ECD Recombinant Antibody (clone mAb23)

Description

Recombinant Human Antibody (mAb23) is capable of binding to ECD, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-ECD mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-ECD proteins mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. This antibody blocks glucagon binding and inhibits basal receptor activity, indicating that it is an inverse agonist and that the ECD can negatively regulate receptor activity independent of ligand binding.
