Description
The product is a human antibody that exhibits high affinity for CD4. The antibody significantly diminished internalization of the CD4 receptor. The CD4 antigen acts as a coreceptor in conjunction with the T cell receptor on T lymphocytes to recognize antigens displayed by antigen-presenting cells in the context of class II MHC molecules. CD4-related diseases include immunodeficiency 79 and Okt4 epitope deficiency.
